OpenCR1.0は、完全にオープンソースのハードウェアとソフトウェアを提供するために、ROSの組み込みシステム用に開発されました。 ボードの回路図、PCBカバー、BOM、TurtleBot3とOP3用のファームウェアのソースコードなど、ボードに関するすべてのものは、ユーザーとROSコミュニティのためにオープンソースライセンスのもとで無料で配布されています。 OpenCR1.0ボード内のSTM32F7シリーズチップは、浮動小数点演算ユニットを搭載した非常に強力なARM Cortex-M7をベースにしています。 OpenCR1.0の開発環境は、若い学生向けのArduino IDEやScratchから、エキスパート向けの従来のファームウェア開発まで幅広く対応しています。
